Motor vehicle crashes are the #1 cause of injury and death for children. Most people think they are using their car seat correctly; however over 90% of car seats have been shown to be incorrectly installed! In fact, Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) usually find an average of 3-5 mistakes per seat while checking for proper installation.

MJ Whalen Associates offers appointments that work with YOUR schedule. Your appointment time will depend on the quantity of car seats you have. Generally every appointment is about 1 hour in length.
There are some agencies in San Diego County available to you free of charge. These check points are very busy, are limited to one or two a month in various parts of the county, and usually come with quite a bit of a wait time. Why wait up to three hours to have your child’s car seat checked, when you can have a 1-on-1 personal appointment?
Even if you think you have installed your car seat the right way, have it checked by a trained technician to be absolutely sure!

$70 – Private checkup at the client’s home/office
$15 – Each additional base
$30 – Each additional seat
